Mijos: Semi-Daily Stories of Being A Dad is a comic series by Jon Garza documenting memorable moments in his life as a father of two. The 36 pages are filled with LOL cartoons of chubby baby feet and the beautiful honesty and hilarity that is children.

I met Jon at Phoenix Zine Fest in 2018. The crayon scribbles quickly caught my eye and all it took was the comic of his son choking on popcorn to make sure I added this zine to my collection. Mijos is officially the first zine to be a part of the Zines With Sol distro. Woo hoo!

Jon Garza is Chicano artist living in Gilbert Arizon. He is an illustrator and teacher. He has illustrated for a variety of clients ranging from the skateboarding, motorcycle, food, and music industry.
